The Bristol BL-140SB Sunburst Dreadnought Guitar is a remarkable instrument that brings professional, all-solid wood construction to an incredibly accessible price point. While many affordable guitars rely on laminate materials, this model utilizes a solid torrefied spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides. This specific combination ensures a rich, “broken-in” sound that typically takes years of playing to achieve.
Superior Craftsmanship and Heritage
As the sister brand to the legendary Blueridge line, Bristol benefits from decades of high-end manufacturing expertise. Consequently, you receive an instrument that mirrors the pre-war vibe and tonal complexity of boutique guitars. The dreadnought body shape provides massive projection and deep bass response. This makes it a perfect choice for both heavy strummers and delicate fingerpickers who need extra volume.
Professional Appointments for Every Player
Beyond the impressive tonewoods, the attention to detail on this guitar is truly exceptional for its class. For instance, the genuine bone nut and saddle provide superior vibration transfer compared to plastic alternatives. Furthermore, the inclusion of nickel-plated open-geared tuners ensures that your tuning remains rock-solid during long practice sessions. The aesthetic is topped off with a stunning high-gloss sunburst finish.
